What’s On 2019-12-13

It’s ‘Nostalgia Day’ on 4 LEGS Radio this Friday.

We’ll be looking back at what life was like in the Lambourn Valley 50+ years ago. So join us as we reminisce with some local guests of stories, characters, activities and of course music from times gone by.
As it’s election day we’ll also keep you posted with election results.

Here’s our broadcasting schedule for Nostalgia Day on Friday 13th December:

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
Join Pete for The Breakfast Show when he’ll be playing the hit songs from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s with the odd Christmas tune thrown in as well.  You’ll also be kept up to date with election results.

Don’t miss it!

Pat’s delighted to have in the studio ex-Lambourn trainer Nick Gaselee (pic) who trained Party Politics (pic) to win The Grand National in 1992. Tim and Pat have two live guests from Age UK – Dementia Oxfordshire, Peter Johnson (pic) who’s Head of Service and Tamsin Hudson (pic) who’s a Dementia Adviser. Plus there’s four recorded interviews of between five and fifteen minutes of people who share stories of past village life in Great Shefford. Time permitting they will run through the decades from the 30s to the 70s trying to put some colour on the changes in every day life. There’ll also be music to fit the decades.
